Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barrett Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara misses with a double jab.

Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Aybara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Aybara shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense.

Wallace lands a hook to the side of the head.
Aybara tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wallace smiles and moves away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wallace looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wallace tries to clinch up but Aybara circles away and keeps his distance.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Wallace keeps control of Aybara as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aybara tries to pull guard but Wallace holds him up against the cage and eventually Aybara drops back down to his feet.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wallace just misses with a elbow thrown towards Aybara's brow.
Wallace lands a body shot.
Wallace wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aybara has him pressed against the cage.
Aybara is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wallace pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Aybara shoots for a takedown but Wallace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
