And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabriel Landeskog!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landeskog gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mclaughlin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Landeskog enables Mclaughlin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Landeskog manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mclaughlin is working Landeskog over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Landeskog controls Mclaughlin momentarily but Mclaughlin frees himself.
Mclaughlin throws a big right hand that misses.

Landeskog is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Landeskog wants to sweep here but Mclaughlin controlling him for the moment.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mclaughlin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Landeskog is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jasper Mclaughlin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mclaughlin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Landeskog tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Mclaughlin presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mclaughlin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mclaughlin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
