Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuteru Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corwin Anstey is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Anstey counters with a stiff right hand.
Machida moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Anstey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Machida misses with a few strikes there.

It looks like Kazuteru Machida has been cut.
Machida drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Machida tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anstey defends well and Machida ends up having to push Anstey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Anstey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Anstey feints a jab promting Machida to slip. Anstey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Machida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Anstey clinches up with Machida and pushes him back against the cage.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Machida shoots in looking for a takedown. Anstey tries to sprawl out of it but Machida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anstey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anstey jabs Machida right on the nose. Machida blinks but takes it well.
Machida dives in and grabs Anstey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anstey pushes down on Machida's head and hops out.

Anstey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machida stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Machida is trying desperately to land a takedown but Anstey is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Machida.

The fight stays on the outside here - Machida looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anstey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Machida takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Machida postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Anstey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Machida backs up against the cage.

and Anstey counters with a crisp right that sends Machida to the canvas! Anstey follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

A determined Corwin Anstey didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
