The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scissors gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The fighters circling - Ranson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Scissors circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ranson throws out a loose jab but Scissors uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ranson misses with a looping left.
Ranson lands a big shot that drops Scissors! Can he finish him?

Scissors drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ranson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Scissors swats away the attempt to clinch by Ranson.
Ranson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ranson throws a right hand that Scissors ducks under and follows up with a left that Scissors also avoids with ease.

Scissors has his foot on Ranson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ranson works his way back into a safe position though.

Scissors isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ranson stacks Scissors on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ranson!
