Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Notsag Tnarffous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tnarffous takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Tnarffous looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Tnarffous looking for a guillotine here but Holmes defends easily.
Tnarffous wants to sweep but no luck.

Tnarffous looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Holmes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tnarffous swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tnarffous manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Tnarffous has control of Holmes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Holmes regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Holmes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tnarffous on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tnarffous shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holmes as he avoids it easily.

Holmes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tnarffous looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Holmes is nestled in close to Tnarffous, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tnarffous makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tnarffous.
Holmes stands up over Tnarffous, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Holmes is looking to work some ground and pound but Tnarffous has wrist control.

Tnarffous working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holmes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holmes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Holmes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tnarffous closes the distance and clinches up with Holmes, looking for a takedown. Tnarffous pushes Holmes against the cage but Holmes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Holmes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Holmes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
