The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denisov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Denisov wants to pass to mount but Kuznecov is defending the position.

Denisov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Denisov swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kuznecov is now in Denisov's guard. A big mistake from Denisov there, giving up the dominant position!
Denisov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kuznecov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Denisov is tightening it up a little... Kuznecov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kuznecov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kuznecov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Denisov!
