Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffrey Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frederick Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hudson moves into the clinch.
Jackson wants a takedown.
Jackson tries to score a body lock takedown but Hudson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jeffrey Hudson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederick Jackson.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hudson walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Jeffrey Hudson has been cut.

Hudson gets caught napping as Jackson dives in and scores a takedown. Hudson manages to retain guard.

Hudson controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself.
Hudson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Hudson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hudson decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jackson tries to sprawl but Hudson drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jackson is staying active underneath Hudson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hudson really is a fat lump.
Hudson thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.

Hudson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hudson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hudson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jackson to get to his feet.
Hudson shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense.

Hudson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.

Jackson gets tackled into the cage by Hudson. Hudson maintains the clinch.

Jackson tries to break the clinch but Hudson is controlling the position.

Hudson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hudson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Hudson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hudson gets to his feet - Jackson follows without any prompting.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hudson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hudson gets the takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Hudson stands up and beckons Jackson to his feet.

Hudson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jackson is trying to keep an underhook but Hudson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Hudson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hudson prevents Jackson from standing back up.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Hudson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson wants to get back to full guard.

Hudson is looking for a kimura but Jackson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hudson to get the leverage.

Hudson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Hudson has him pressed against the cage.
Hudson lands a good knee to the midsection. Jackson won't want to take too many of those.
Jackson trying to control the position but instead, Hudson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jackson into the cage.

Hudson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jackson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hudson.

Hudson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Hudson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jackson for as long as he can get away with.

Hudson is persistently looking for the submission but Jackson is defending it well.

Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Jackson! Hudson is backing up but he can't get away as Jackson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Hudson and ends the fight. Great knockout.
