Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sponge Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uno Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uno Torres will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws out a loose jab but Bones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bones misses with a body kick.
Torres misses with a takedown attempt
and Bones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Torres has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Torres enables Bones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Torres manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Torres is trying to control the position but Bones postures up.
Bones wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.

Torres looking for subs off his back but Bones has passed one foot through into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bones is working for a kimura but Torres is defending it quite comfortably.
Torres is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Torres is still trying to improve position.

Bones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Torres still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Torres has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Bones blocking the ground and pound.

Torres jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bones is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bones and Torres has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Torres with the ground and pound but Bones regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Torres wants to control but Bones is keeping him busy.

Torres seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bones is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
