Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Huynh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spar Box (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Huynh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spar Box!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Box fails to land the takedown.
Huynh walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Box checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Box dives in for a single leg takedown but Huynh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Huynh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Huynh manages to end up in side control.
Huynh is staying tight to Box's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Huynh stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Box connects with a body shot that sends Huynh's belly button to the back.
Box feints and as Huynh raises his hands in defense, Box changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Huynh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Box manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huynh's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Huynh is pushing down on Box's leg trying to pass to half guard. Box is fighting to maintain full guard but Huynh has managed to sneak the leg through.

Box throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Box is trying to control but can't.
Huynh decides to stand up.

Box connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Huynh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Huynh leaves Box with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Box shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huynh sprawls well. Huynh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Box gets slowly back to his feet.
Huynh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Box to the ground. Huynh is now in Box's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Huynh misses the shot to the body.
Huynh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Box tries to avoid it but Huynh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Box to the ground. Box escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee warns Box that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Huynh pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That has opened up Spar Box's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Huynh takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Huynh throws a sloppy head kick
and Box counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The cut above Spar Box's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Huynh goes for a double leg but Box avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Box continues to drive forward.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Box blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Huynh tries to land a knee to the head but Box blocks with his arms.
Box is looking to control Huynh's arms but Huynh gets an underhook and turns him. Now Box has his back to the cage.
Huynh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Box walks away with a smile on his face. Huynh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A head kick from Box lands but Huynh takes it in his stride.
Huynh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Huynh is nestled in close to Box, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
