Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emanuel Mcmahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Jiminez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luis Jiminez!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jiminez gets the takedown into side control.
Mcmahon is looking to regain half guard here but Jiminez keeps moving and retains side control.
Jiminez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mcmahon sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Mcmahon on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Mcmahon tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Luis Jiminez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcmahon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jiminez connects with a leg kick. Mcmahon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Jiminez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcmahon's guard.

Jiminez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcmahon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jiminez is in Mcmahon's guard.

Well Jiminez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
