Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Willy Valenzuela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Nkosi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenneth Nkosi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willy Valenzuela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenneth Nkosi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Valenzuela tries to clinch
and Nkosi counters with a two punch combo.
Nkosi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Valenzuela misses with a two punch combination.
Valenzuela misses with a jab, cross combination.
Valenzuela rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nkosi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Valenzuela closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Valenzuela could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Valenzuela has Nkosi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nkosi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nkosi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Valenzuela regains guard.
Nkosi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nkosi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Valenzuela swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Nkosi counters with a three punch combo that has Valenzuela backing up. Valenzuela nods at Nkosi to acknowledge the strikes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Valenzuela forces Nkosi back against the cage and clinches.
Nkosi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Valenzuela wants to sweep here but Nkosi controlling him for the moment.
Valenzuela is adopting a defensive guard.
Valenzuela is trying to control the position but Nkosi postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Valenzuela tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nkosi counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Valenzuela off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Nkosi follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Valenzuela was out before he hit the floor.
