The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilhelm tries to keep at a distance but Landry has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wilhelm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Wilhelm. That's going to slow Landry down.
Landry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wilhelm defends it nicely.
No luck for Landry with that takedown attempt.
Wilhelm throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wilhelm lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Landry looks for a takedown but Wilhelm sprawls well.
Kaiser Wilhelm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wes Landry.
Landry takes a kick to the side of the head.

Wilhelm scores with a head kick. Landry tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Landry fails in his attempt to clinch.
Landry shoots in looking for a takedown but Wilhelm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Landry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wilhelm connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That kick from Wilhelm tenderised Landry's leg. Landry is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wilhelm, right into the meat.
Landry looks for a takedown but Wilhelm sprawls well.

Kaiser Wilhelm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Landry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wilhelm can pounce on him.
Landry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilhelm as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wilhelm, right into the meat.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Landry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wilhelm - the referee stops the clock and Landry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wilhelm. Landry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Landry looks winded!
Wilhelm scores with a leg kick.
Landry is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Whack! Wilhelm lands a heavy head kick that drops Landry. The ref tackles Wilhelm to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Landry was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kaiser Wilhelm!
