Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bodo Bagger!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bagger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bagger not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Puckett tries to get to full guard but Bagger has control of the leg.

Bagger trying to control the position from guard on top but Puckett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Puckett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bagger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Puckett.

Puckett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Puckett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bagger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Puckett stands up.

Puckett moves into the clinch.

Puckett manages to break the clinch.
Bagger does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bagger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Puckett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Puckett is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bagger off and has taken his back!

Puckett is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bagger defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Puckett has the hooks in. Bagger is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Puckett is persistently looking for the submission but Bagger is defending it well.

Puckett looking to break Bagger's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bagger remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Puckett will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Puckett is looking to control Bagger but Bagger is wriggling around and keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Puckett is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Bagger shoots in and bounces Puckett off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Puckett looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bagger is defending well. Puckett quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bagger has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Puckett celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
