Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Slapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Rod!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rod slips under a jab.
Slapper tries to close the distance and clinch but Rod swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slapper misses the jab.
Rod defending well as Slapper loads up on a big left hand.
Slapper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slapper misses with a hook. Rod ducked under it nicely.
Rod moves out of range as Slapper strikes.
Rod ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

A very excited looking Rob Rod rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
