Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Pena has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown is looking to slow Pena down with leg kicks.
Pena misses with a hook.
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pena circles away.
Pena throws a big shot that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pena. Brown shrugs it off though.
Brown lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
No joy there for Pena, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pena is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.

Pena lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Pena thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown goes for a double leg but Pena avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pena continues to drive forward.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Pena sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Javier Pena is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pena throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pena. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pena is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Pena circles away and we're back to standing.
