The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo throws a shot to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Halo.
Halo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sheck.
A bone on bone clash there as Sheck blocks the leg kick.
Halo lands with a nice body punch.
Sheck avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Halo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Roger Sheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sheck shoots in but Halo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sheck takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Halo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've been hearing reports that Sheck has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Halo. Sheck does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sheck tries to move into range but Halo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sheck is defended easily by Halo.

Sheck darts in looking for a takedown but Halo gets double underhooks and turns Sheck into the ropes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Halo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Sheck takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice takedown defense from Halo. No joy for Sheck on that attempt.
Halo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Halo walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Sheck drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Halo swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Sheck's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
