Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luca Anger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Durlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wojciech Durlak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luca Anger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wojciech Durlak!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anger closes the distance and pushes Durlak back into the cage.

Anger has picked Durlak up - he's going for a ride! Anger dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Durlak trying to control from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Anger wants to free his trapped foot but Durlak is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Durlak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anger passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Durlak!
Durlak is looking to get to half guard.
Durlak tries to hold on but Anger postures up.

Durlak tries to reverse the position but Anger maintains control.
Anger is looking to work his way around to Durlak's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Anger working for a submission but Durlak is keeping him at bay.
Durlak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Durlak is controlling an arm, preventing Anger from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Anger working for a guillotine from mount but Durlak is in no mood to give up.
Anger controlling the pace for now.
Anger scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Anger avoids the attempt from Durlak to control.
Durlak is trying to escape the mount.
Anger misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Durlak holds on for dear life, controlling Anger's posture momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Durlak bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Anger wants to control but Durlak passes easily into half guard.

Durlak is working for a kimura but Anger is defending it quite comfortably.

Durlak with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Durlak trying to control the position from guard on top but Anger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durlak wants to control from the top but Anger keeps moving.
Anger is pulling down on Durlak's head to control his posture.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Durlak looking to pass the guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Anger working for a triangle but Durlak defends it easily.

Anger is looking for a triangle but Durlak pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Anger moves into the clinch successfully.

Durlak manages to pull guard.
Anger works over Durlak with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durlak wants to sweep but no luck.
Anger is working Durlak over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Durlak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anger defends it easily.
Anger is stalling in the full guard.

Anger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Durlak looking for a sweep. Not yet Durlak, not yet.
Anger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Anger trying to control the position from guard on top but Durlak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Anger is stalling in the full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Luca Anger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Anger has Durlak up against the cage in a clinch.

Durlak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Anger postures up.
Anger postures up in Durlak's guard and throws a big left but Durlak blocks it.
Anger wants to control from the top but Durlak keeps moving.
Durlak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Anger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Durlak wants to sweep here but Anger controlling him for the moment.

Luca Anger has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Anger clinches up against the cage.
Anger wants to break free but Durlak has control.

Anger is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Durlak can't fight it off and eventually Anger manages to take the fight to the floor. Durlak looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Anger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Durlak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Anger!
Anger bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Luca Anger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Durlak looking to control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anger is looking to work some ground and pound but Durlak has wrist control.
Anger wants to get up but he can't break Durlak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Anger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Anger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Durlak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Anger throws a strike aimed at the side of Durlak's head but Durlak avoids it well.

Anger lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Anger tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Anger jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Durlak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Durlak and Anger has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Anger is looking to take a break and control but Durlak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Anger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Durlak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Durlak is looking for a sweep.

Durlak is just holding on here. Anger manages to take his back.

Durlak tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Anger has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Durlak is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
