The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaVallee fails with the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from LaVallee is defended easily by Kormen.
LaVallee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tidus Kormen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jewer LaVallee.
Kormen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kormen trying to control but LaVallee is working from the bottom.
LaVallee is looking for a triangle here but Kormen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kormen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LaVallee on the ground.
LaVallee is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kormen off and has taken his back!
Kormen looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
