Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Mattsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Baker misses.
Mattsen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Baker closes the distance and clinches.
Baker misses with a knee to the head.
Mattsen blocks the elbow strike.

Baker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mattsen dives in and grabs Baker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Baker pushes down on Mattsen's head and hops out.
Mattsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mattsen somewhat.
Baker throws a series of punches but Mattsen avoids them all with ease.

Mattsen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Baker lands with a nice body kick.
Baker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Good leg kick by Baker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mattsen.

Baker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mattsen shoots in for a double leg but Baker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mattsen drops his hands momentarily and Baker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Baker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mattsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Baker finish him?
Baker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mattsen.
Mattsen seems to have recovered his senses.
Mattsen misses with a takedown attempt
and Baker makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mattsen really felt that one!

Mattsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baker defends it nicely.
Mattsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baker was well out of range. Poor timing from Mattsen.

and Baker counters with a nice kick to the body.
Baker throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mattsen colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Baker as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mattsen is left battered and dazed whilst Baker and his camp cheer!
