Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armand Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Art McCart!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCart throws a lazy head kick

and Kane counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The strikes coming from Kane are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Kane tries for a kimura but McCart is defending well.

McCart is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kane has just dragged him back down to the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McCart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've been informed that McCart has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

McCart tries to close the distance and clinch but Kane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kane takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Art McCart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kane walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

McCart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McCart wants to get back to his feet but Kane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kane decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Art McCart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

McCart lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kane backwards.
Kane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McCart just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kane is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
McCart presses Kane against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
McCart using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kane has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
McCart will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kane up against the cage.

It looks like Armand Kane has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCart creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kane's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kane drops to his knees and McCart pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Art McCart!
