Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Death (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yusuke Yurameshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Death is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Death!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yusuke Yurameshi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Death scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Yurameshi is trying to control Death's posture but Death avoids it.
Yurameshi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Death haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Yurameshi is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Death is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yurameshi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Death has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Death's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Death lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Yurameshi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Death misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yurameshi throws a one two combo.
Death takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Death looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Death throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yurameshi was covering up waiting for the punch and Death finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Death is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Death postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Death drops back looking for a leg! Yurameshi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yurameshi manages to kick Death off! Death jumps back into Yurameshi's guard.
Death is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Death throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Death throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yurameshi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Death pushes down on Yurameshi's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Yurameshi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Death. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Death is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Yurameshi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Yurameshi shrugs it off.

That's time! Death's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Death shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yurameshi's guard.
