The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boswell throws out a loose jab but Jimbei uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boswell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jimbei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boswell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jimbei counters with a takedown into side control.
Boswell is trying to control Jimbei's posture but Jimbei avoids it.
Jimbei is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boswell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Boswell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Boswell is looking to control Jimbei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boswell avoid being mounted?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A less than humble Bryce Boswell misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
