Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trent Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Novi Mugiyanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Novi Mugiyanto!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mugiyanto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morrison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mugiyanto.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mugiyanto scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Morrison to see if he's OK.
The strikes coming from Mugiyanto are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Morrison tries to bench press Mugiyanto off him but Mugiyanto keeps the position.
Morrison on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Morrison gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Morrison is trying to control but can't.
Morrison works his way to full guard. Good work.

Morrison is looking for a triangle here but Mugiyanto uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Morrison wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Morrison tries to bench press Mugiyanto off him but Mugiyanto keeps the position.

Morrison throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Morrison is looking for a sweep.

Mugiyanto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Morrison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mugiyanto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mugiyanto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Morrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mugiyanto decides to stand back up. Mugiyanto steps back and let's Morrison get back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mugiyanto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morrison but Morrison pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Morrison is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Morrison, right into the meat.
Mugiyanto is looking to clinch.

Morrison shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Mugiyanto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Morrison's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Morrison's back!

Mugiyanto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Morrison has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mugiyanto has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Morrison! Can he survive? No! He's out! Mugiyanto gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Novi Mugiyanto!
Post fight, an emotional Novi Mugiyanto said 'I'm winner .. You losser ..'.
Trent Morrison spoke after the fight, saying 'GUARGGHH!!'.
