The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Col Guile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guile pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Guile wants to land a leg kick but Holm is out of range.
Holm moves out of range of the leg kick from Guile.

and Holm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holm lands a big head kick that sends Guile tumbling to the mat! Holm takes a step backwards and waves Guile back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Holm lands with a nice body kick.
Holm steps in with a hook that catches Guile right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Holm follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Guile looks absolutely devastated.
