Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Kevin Rudolf - In the City. Rob Ramirez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez fails with a takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - Harris throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramirez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Harris darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Ramirez pushes Harris off looking to stand but Harris dives back in and keeps control.
Ramirez is looking to control Harris's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ramirez avoid being mounted?
Harris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Harris working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ramirez defends it well.

Ramirez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramirez is trying to control the position but Harris postures up.

Harris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ramirez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harris, into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ramirez gets to his feet - Harris follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramirez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harris is fending him off so far but Ramirez persists. Nope, Harris circles away and we're back to standing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ramirez holds on and takes a little breather.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ramirez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Harris manages to stand up with Ramirez still on his back. Eventually Ramirez drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Ramirez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Harris will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
