Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buford Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rowen Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buford Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rowen Fire!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fire gets tackled into the cage by Livingston. Livingston maintains the clinch.
Fire has Livingston pressed against the cage, preventing Livingston from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Livingston breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Livingston throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fire trying to land knees to the body.

Fire pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Livingston wants to stand but Fire is controlling his posture from full guard.
Livingston working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Livingston is looking to stand up but Fire won't let him.

Livingston is looking to stand up but Fire won't let him.
Fire has control of Livingston's left arm, preventing Livingston from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rowen Fire.
A combination from Livingston does no damage.
Fire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Livingston tries to avoid it but Fire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Livingston to the ground. Livingston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fire circles away from the clinch attempt.

Livingston rushes Fire and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Livingston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fire clinches up against the cage.

Fire has hold of one of Livingston's legs. Livingston is fighting the takedown attempt but Fire gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fire throws a big elbow that misses.
Livingston has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Livingston is on top in guard.

Livingston stands up from Fire's guard - Livingston perhaps looking for a knockout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fire is defended easily by Livingston.
Buford Livingston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rowen Fire.

Livingston closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Livingston lands in his opponent's guard.

Fire has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Livingston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Livingston wants to stand but Fire has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fire is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fire has momentary wrist control but Livingston slips an elbow through the middle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fire throws a push kick but Livingston slaps the foot to one side.

Fire closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fire keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Livingston's efforts to push away.
Livingston can't find room to land a body shot as Fire controls the action.
Fire changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Livingston fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fire shoots for a takedown but Livingston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fire is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fire is breathing heavily.

Fire trying to control the position but instead, Livingston has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fire into the cage.
Livingston is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fire to keep the fight standing.
Fire keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Livingston's efforts to push away.

Fire prevents a body shot from Livingston.
Fire tries to pull guard but Livingston won't allow it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight stays on the outside here - Livingston looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fire rushes Livingston and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fire tries for a takedown but Livingston sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fire gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Livingston is trying to break free.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Livingston knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fire on the ground.

Livingston is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fire is controlling him.

Livingston is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Buford Livingston wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Livingston lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Livingston.

That's time! Livingston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Livingston throws an elbow that misses. Fire uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Livingston's guard. Nice move by Fire!

Fire prevents Livingston from getting back to his feet.
Livingston is trying to control the position but Fire postures up.

Livingston has his foot on Fire's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fire works his way back into a safe position though.
Fire wants to get up but he can't break Livingston's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Livingston wants to sweep here but Fire controlling him for the moment.
Buford Livingston overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fire wants to control from the top but Livingston keeps moving.

Livingston misses with a hook.

Fire has taken the fight to the clinch.
Livingston goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fire prevents it.

Fire gets underhooks to prevent Livingston's takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fire is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rowen Fire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Livingston has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
