Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granville Fortier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Satudarah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Satudarah.
Satudarah dives in and grabs Fortier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fortier pushes down on Satudarah's head and hops out.

and Satudarah counters with a left and a right that stings Fortier.
Fortier throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Fortier's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fortier looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Satudarah with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
