Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Esta me Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asa Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esta me Dinero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Asa Sharp!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sharp drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sharp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dinero keeps working.

Sharp thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sharp is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dinero will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Sharp swings around for an armbar but Dinero sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sharp's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sharp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dinero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dinero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dinero is defended easily by Sharp.
Sharp tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dinero defends well and Sharp ends up having to push Dinero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dinero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dinero slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dinero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sharp as he jumps to the side.

Sharp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dinero's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Sharp moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dinero has worked his arm free - good work by Dinero!

I would just about give that final round to Asa Sharp.
I've got Sharp winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
