The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reigns closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Justin Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones dives in and grabs Reigns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reigns pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Reigns's coach down at EUOLUCAO MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Reigns's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones throws a wild body kick that Reigns sees coming a mile off.
Reigns cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jones shoots in and drives through. Reigns sprawls well.
Reigns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reigns moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Reigns tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Reigns cracks Jones with a hook to the temple - Jones is on wobbly legs here! Reigns swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jones falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Reigns wins by TKO!
