Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between King Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Kalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Vasquez tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kalidov counters with a head kick.
Vasquez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kalidov defends it nicely.
Vasquez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kalidov avoids it really well and circles away.
Vasquez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Vasquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vasquez wants to clinch
and Kalidov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like King Vasquez has been cut.
Vasquez tries for a takedown but Kalidov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vasquez.

Kalidov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kalidov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kalidov counters with a right hand to the body.
King Vasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasquez shoots in looking for a takedown but Kalidov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vasquez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Vasquez darts in trying to clinch
and Kalidov counters with a huge head kick that drops Vasquez! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
