Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunmetal Grey Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashi Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 神風 Musashi Kato is gyrating in front of the ring girls kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kato misses with a low kick.
Kato lands with a shot to the body.

Kato throws a low kick but it's checked well by Grey Ii.

Grey Ii throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kato on the side of the head.
Kato uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Grey Ii has time to react.

and Kato counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grey Ii wants to sweep here but Kato controlling him for the moment.

Grey Ii is staying active underneath Kato, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grey Ii is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Grey Ii holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grey Ii crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kato - the referee stops the clock and Grey Ii gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kato. Grey Ii manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Grey Ii looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kato shoots for a double leg takedown but Grey Ii sprawls well. He's pushed Kato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Grey Ii uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kato.
Grey Ii misses the shot to the body.
Kato fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Grey Ii checks it well.
Kato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grey Ii moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musashi Kato dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Grey Ii punishes Kato's body with a nice straight punch.
Grey Ii takes a swing at Kato's ribcage but misses.
Kato lands with an uppercut that bounces Grey Ii off the cage and back into range.

Grey Ii uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kato.

Grey Ii ducks under a wild hook from Kato.
Kato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Grey Ii slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kato sizes up Grey Ii with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A bone on bone clash there as Kato blocks the leg kick.
Kato thuds a left hand into Grey Ii's body.
Grey Ii keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Grey Ii tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kato throws a body punch but Grey Ii moves out of range.

Grey Ii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kato moves away.
Grey Ii takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Donk. Kato catches Grey Ii right on the button with a cross.
Kato drops Grey Ii with a beautiful combination! Grey Ii stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kato is looking for the KO!
Grey Ii is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice body kick there by Kato.
Oh Grey Ii is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kato steps in with a hook that catches Grey Ii right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kato follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Grey Ii looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Musashi Kato!
A relieved looking Musashi Kato thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
