Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Broderick Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choco Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Bang closes the distance and clinches.

Bang gets a trip takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bang wants to pass to mount but Gregory is defending the position.
Bang perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gregory wants to control but Bang is keeping busy.
Bang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gregory!

Gregory stops Bang from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Gregory reaches up to try and control the position but Bang seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gregory rolls and tries to escape and now Bang has his back!

Gregory is doing well to control the position and prevent Bang from advancing to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Broderick Gregory wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bang tries to move into range but Gregory moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Choco Bang has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Gregory connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Gregory counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Bang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gregory was covering up waiting for the punch and Bang finishes the takedown easily into guard.
