Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Thorkildsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, How we do. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rolf Thorkildsen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout thows a body shot but no joy.
Stout takes a swing at Thorkildsen's ribcage but misses.
Stout throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stout will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thorkildsen keeps the fight on the outside.
Thorkildsen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stout.
Sam Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorkildsen checks the leg kick.
Stout throws a right hand that Thorkildsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Thorkildsen also avoids with ease.
Thorkildsen throws the left hand but Stout avoids the punch easily.

Thorkildsen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Thorkildsen wants to control but Stout is keeping him busy.

Thorkildsen is keen to just control but Stout is a slippery customer.
Stout makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stout.
Stout is trying to keep Thorkildsen in close.
Stout seems keen to control Thorkildsen's posture.

Thorkildsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stout manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thorkildsen has Stout in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stout is really struggling to control Thorkildsen but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Stout has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Thorkildsen has his foot on Stout's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stout works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stout slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Stout wants to control from the top but Thorkildsen keeps moving.

Thorkildsen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar!
