Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Modano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis lands a body shot.
Davis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Davis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Modano shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Modano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Modano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Modano on the ground.
Modano lands a couple of digs.
Modano is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Modano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Modano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Davis wants to stand up but Modano is controlling him.
Davis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Modano postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Modano thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Modano has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Modano keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Davis's head.

Davis is trying to control the position but Modano postures up.
Modano is working Davis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Modano drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Modano as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Davis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Modano! Nice submission victory there!
