Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Lara, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Lara against the cage but Lara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Silva is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lara gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Royce Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a right hand that Lara ducks under and follows up with a left that Lara also avoids with ease.

Lara is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lara manages to get himself to full guard.

Royce Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Lara stands up and beckons Silva to his feet.

Silva has Lara pressed against the cage, preventing Lara from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lara jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Lara gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Silva gets to his feet. Lara looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lara wants it to stay on the feet.
Silva throws a big shot that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lara swivels and escapes.
Roy Lara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Silva.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lara blocks a leg kick.
Lara throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lara off to one side.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roy Lara.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
