The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tze Long with a poor takedown
and Memphis counters with a series of strikes. Tze Long will be more careful next time no doubt.
Memphis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tze Long.
Tze Long swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Memphis counters with a left and a right that stings Tze Long.
Tze Long shoots in for a takedown but Memphis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ceasar Memphis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huang Tze Long.

Tze Long fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Memphis to the ground. Tze Long is now in Memphis's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Memphis wants to stand and escape but Tze Long is having none of it.
Memphis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tze Long dives into side control.
Memphis is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Tze Long is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Memphis looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tze Long gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Memphis is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tze Long lets go of the hold and Memphis can pop his arm back in it's socket.
