Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Orlando Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Henry is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Henry circles away and we're back to standing.

Henry scores with a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones managing to control the position.
Henry stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.

Jones is working an open guard so Henry takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henry sprawls well. Henry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henry's waist but Henry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Orlando Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.

Henry gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Henry manages to break the clinch.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones wants to break free but Henry has control.

Henry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Henry defends it nicely.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henry circles away.

Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Henry smiles and moves away.

and Henry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Henry.

Jones tries to pull guard but Henry holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Henry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Henry managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Henry has him pressed against the cage.

Henry successfully pulls guard.
Henry is looking to sweep but instead, Jones has passed into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Henry tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orlando Henry dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jones forces Henry back against the cage and clinches.
Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Henry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henry thows a body shot but no joy.
Henry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones tries for a takedown but Henry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones controlling the action here for a moment.
Henry has Jones pressed against the cage, preventing Jones from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Henry breaks from the clinch.

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Henry in a clinch.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Henry is controlling him.
Henry is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones tries to pull guard but Henry forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Orlando Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Henry has him pressed against the cage.
Jones is working for takedown but Henry is calmly controlling the position for now.

Henry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henry tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henry to the ground. Henry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Henry moves out of range of the body kick from Jones.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Henry closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Henry creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Henry has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Henry gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Henry stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Henry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Henry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Henry misses the shot to the body.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henry moves out of range of the strikes.
Henry keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Henry shows good takedown defense.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Henry is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing.
Henry pushes off an throws an elbow but Jones leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Henry is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Henry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jones clinches with his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones can't break the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Orlando Henry will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henry walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Henry defends well and Jones ends up having to push Henry into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Henry lands a left hand.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Henry prevents it.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Henry avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Henry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Henry lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Henry works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Henry dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Henry gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Henry will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Henry throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jones escapes and throws Henry's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Jones stands up.

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jones has Henry pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Henry manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jones jumps guard but Henry stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Henry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Henry to keep the fight standing.

Henry manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Henry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jon Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Orlando Henry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Henry gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Orlando Henry.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henry, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
