The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Swanson or perhaps it was just good defense by Kapena which made him look bad.
Kapena catches Swanson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kapena misses the shot to the body.

Swanson feints and as Kapena raises his hands in defense, Swanson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Swanson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kapena bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Swanson 's guard.
Kapena trying to control but Swanson is working from the bottom.

Kapena stands and steps away. Swanson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swanson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Swanson takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Kapena dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Swanson looks winded!
Kapena connects with a crisp jab.

Kapena feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Swanson sprawling to the canvas! Swanson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kapena finish him?!

Swanson is rocked!

Swanson wants to clinch.
Kapena ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kapena circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Swanson tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Kapena wins by KO!
