Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riese Deponte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riese Deponte !
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Maynard with that takedown attempt.
Maynard shoots in and bounces Deponte off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Deponte is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Deponte bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maynard's guard.
Deponte trying to control the position from guard on top but Maynard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maynard had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Deponte is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Maynard Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Deponte 's back instead.
Deponte is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Maynard gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
