Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amos Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Wada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masa Wada will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wada feints and as Guerra raises his hands in defense, Wada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Guerra throws a couple of heel strikes.

Guerra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wada drops back looking for a leg! Guerra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Guerra manages to kick Wada off! Wada jumps back into Guerra's guard.
Guerra wants to stand but Wada is controlling the position.
Guerra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Guerra pushes Wada off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Guerra goes for a double leg but Wada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wada continues to drive forward.

Wada has Guerra pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wada pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Guerra tumbling to the mat - Wada dives into Guerra's guard.
