Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Eagle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Fight Music - D12 blaring out of the sound system. Stephen Eagle will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephen Eagle!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eagle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Johnson misses the jab.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Eagle's shoulder, as Eagle tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson forces Eagle back against the cage and clinches.
Johnson lands a takedown into guard.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Eagle keeps moving.
Johnson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eagle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Johnson won't allow Eagle to sweep him here.

Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Eagle is retaining full guard.
Johnson stands up over Eagle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Eagle is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson passes Eagle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Eagle kicks off Johnson and gets to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Johnson feints and as Eagle raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eagle looks gassed!
Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eagle gets full guard.
Johnson lands a couple of digs.
Eagle working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Eagle looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Eagle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Johnson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Eagle manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts.
Eagle has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson wants to take a breather but Eagle is having none of it.

Eagle tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg.
Johnson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Eagle is in all sorts of trouble here.
Johnson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Eagle can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Johnson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Johnson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Eagle looks a forlorn figure.
Eagle is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea.
Eagle is in a horrible position here. Johnson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Johnson has hold of Eagle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Eagle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Eagle is trying to escape the mount.
Johnson controlling the position easily from mount.
Johnson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Eagle keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eagle is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rufus Johnson dominated that round.
That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Eagle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice cross by Johnson.
Eagle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Eagle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Eagle fails with the takedown.
Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eagle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Johnson! Eagle is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
