Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Austin Wheeler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vitor Belfast!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wheeler pushes Belfast up against the cage in a clinch.

Wheeler wants to sweep here but Belfast controlling him for the moment.
Wheeler is working hard here to advance position.
Belfast tries to free his leg and advance position but Wheeler is retaining full guard.

Wheeler pushes Belfast off and scrambles back to his feet.

Belfast tries to sprawl but Wheeler drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Wheeler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Belfast!

Wheeler is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Belfast can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Belfast really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wheeler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wheeler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wheeler is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Belfast to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Belfast shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wheeler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wheeler has control of Belfast's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Belfast regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wheeler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wheeler avoids the attempt from Belfast to control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wheeler is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Belfast is surviving well by controlling Wheeler's body position as best he can.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee warns Belfast that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin Wheeler dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wheeler wants to control but Belfast is keeping him busy.

Wheeler has hold of Belfast's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Belfast seems comfortable defending it but Wheeler has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Belfast is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Belfast is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wheeler couldn't care less - he's delighted!
