Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Surgov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Del Rosario!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Rosario slips a jab and a cross from Surgov.
Del Rosario misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Surgov.
Surgov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Del Rosario throws a sloppy head kick and Surgov moves out of range easily.
Del Rosario connects with an inside leg kick.
Surgov is breathing heavily.
Del Rosario is looking to slow Surgov down with leg kicks.
Del Rosario displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Surgov throws out the jab.
Del Rosario has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Surgov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Del Rosario circles away quickly and effectively.
Del Rosario defending well as Surgov loads up on a big left hand.
Surgov goes for a double leg but Del Rosario avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Del Rosario continues to drive forward.
Del Rosario manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Del Rosario misses with the head strike.

Del Rosario swings wildly with an uppercut but Surgov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Surgov wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Surgov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Surgov blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Surgov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Del Rosario tries to throw a body punch but Surgov avoids it by throwing Del Rosario back against the cage.

Surgov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Del Rosario pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Del Rosario can't find room to land a body shot as Surgov controls the action.

Del Rosario swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Del Rosario is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Del Rosario misses with some punches.
Surgov is trying to drag Del Rosario to the mat but Del Rosario just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Del Rosario gets through Surgov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Surgov tries to score a body lock takedown but Del Rosario shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Surgov is looking to take this one to the mat.
Surgov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Del Rosario misses with some punches.
Surgov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Surgov takes a shot to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Del Rosario lands a left hand that snaps the head of Surgov backwards.
Surgov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Del Rosario dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Del Rosario has managed to clinch.
Del Rosario tries a body shot but Surgov blocks it.
Del Rosario working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Del Rosario lands with a right to the head.
Del Rosario creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Surgov's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Surgov drops to his knees and Del Rosario pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Del Rosario!
