The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Tsoukalos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith drops his hands momentarily and Tsoukalos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tsoukalos gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tsoukalos has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tsoukalos yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tsoukalos.
