Anderson has chosen "Not Falling" by Mudvayne as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Anderson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

We've been hearing reports that Cortez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cortez closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Cortez connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Anderson tumbling to the canvas! Cortez pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Anderson was done - good stoppage!
