Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jez Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and D Lo Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D Lo Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jez Hound!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, D Lo Brown!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown scores with a takedown into Hound's guard.
Hound is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown advances to half guard.

Brown escapes and gets back to his feet.
Hound misses with a few strikes there.
Hound throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hound is breathing heavily.

Brown has taken the fight to the clinch.

Brown manages to break the clinch.
Hound wants to clinch but Brown slips to the side

and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hound's guard.
Brown would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Hound is retaining full guard.

Brown passes into half guard.
Hound trying to hold on to Brown's head to control him but Brown postures up.
Brown slows the pace down in half guard.
Brown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hound!

Oh Hound is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hound seems to have got his legs back now.
Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Brown has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hound's face.

Brown sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

D Lo Brown dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Brown pulls Hound into guard.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Despite being in the dominant position, D Lo Brown just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brown defending well as Hound loads up on a big left hand.
Brown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brown has managed to clinch.

Brown pulls guard effortlessly.
Brown wants to stand up but Hound is controlling him.
Brown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hound's guard.

Brown decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hound, up you get!

Brown gets a clinch.

Brown jumps guard and drags Hound to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hound has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from.

Hound tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hound thows a big elbow that misses.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw.
A decent looking cross lands there for Brown.
Hound darts in trying to clinch

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Hound fights it but they end up in guard.
Hound has control of Brown's left arm, preventing Brown from doing any damage.
Brown makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hound wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.
Brown distracts Hound with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brown content to stall in guard here.
Brown slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

D Lo Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hound misses with a takedown attempt

and Brown moves into the clinch.
Hound tries for a takedown. No joy.

Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Brown striking off his back but it's not causing Hound any problems.

Brown has control of Hound's left arm, preventing Hound from doing any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Brown has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hound off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hound or not.
Hound is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jez Hound. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hound tries to throw a body punch but Brown avoids it by throwing Hound back against the cage.
Hound tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.
Brown tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Brown has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hound clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hound tries to break free.

Brown is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
I really don't envy Hound right now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Brown looking to break Hound's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hound remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Brown will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Brown has good solid back control here.
Brown lands punches and elbows.
Brown struggling to keep hold of the position.

Hound defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Hound is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Brown.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hound wants to escape the position.
Brown has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hound's body.
Brown lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

And that's the end of the fight!
D Lo Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
