The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corre closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bouthillette to the mat! Bouthillette manages to get full guard.
Corre trying to control the position from guard on top but Bouthillette is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Corre is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bouthillette pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Corre swats away the attempt to clinch by Bouthillette.
Corre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bouthillette throws a head kick that misses.

Bouthillette circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bouthillette tries a head kick but it misses.

Corre throws a sloppy head kick and Bouthillette moves out of range easily.
Bouthillette displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Corre.
Corre tries to close the distance and clinch but Bouthillette swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Corre counters with a shoot takedown. Bouthillette fights it but they end up in guard.

Bouthillette tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Corre shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bouthillette defends it nicely.

Corre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bouthillette moves away.
Bouthillette throws a push kick but Corre slaps the foot to one side.

Corre thows a left - swing and a miss!

Corre dives in and scores a takedown into Bouthillette's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Corre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Corre postures up in Bouthillette's guard and throws a big left but Bouthillette blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bouthillette lands a big head kick that sends Corre tumbling to the mat! Bouthillette takes a step backwards and waves Corre back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bouthillette closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bouthillette tries to land a knee to the head but Corre blocks with his arms.
Bouthillette lands a nice elbow.
Corre is looking for a takedown.
Corre seems to have got his legs back now.
Bouthillette lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Corre manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Corre has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bouthillette should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Corre has tightened it up now! Bouthillette should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
