Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Novi Mugiyanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mugiyanto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Rey counters with a single leg into guard. Mugiyanto didn't expect that.

Novi Mugiyanto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Rey decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mugiyanto's guard.
Mugiyanto is striking off his back. Rey thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Mugiyanto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rey's back!

Rey is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mugiyanto gets his way!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mugiyanto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rey has managed to get both his arms back between Mugiyanto's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Novi Mugiyanto will probably get the nod.
