Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Erik Tarvainen!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tarvainen defends it nicely.
Trevor throws a head kick that misses.
Erik Tarvainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trevor throws a body punch but Tarvainen moves out of range.
Tarvainen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tarvainen cracks Trevor with a good jab.
Tarvainen lands a nice hook to Trevor's body. Trevor takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Trevor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tarvainen has Trevor up against the cage in a clinch.
Tarvainen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tarvainen pulls guard successfully.
Tarvainen wants to sweep here but Trevor controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trevor is looking to stand up but Tarvainen won't let him.

Tarvainen is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Trevor presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Tarvainen struggles to land a body shot inside as Trevor controls his hands.
Trevor is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tarvainen is defending well for now.

Trevor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tarvainen has him pressed against the cage.
Trevor can't get the takedown.
Trevor fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Trevor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tarvainen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Tarvainen lands a body shot in the clinch.
Tarvainen scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Corey Trevor has been cut.

Tarvainen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oh Trevor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tarvainen shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Tarvainen slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Tarvainen lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
