Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gavril shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brink napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Brink sneaks back into half guard.
Brink wants to control but Gavril is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Gavril seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Brink has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gavril is working away from the top position though.
Brink is looking for a sweep. Gavril is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Niklas Brink wasn't active enough on the ground.
Gavril tries for a takedown but Brink circles away easily

and Brink counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brink.

Gavril turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
You can see the frustration on Brink's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brink is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gavril off and has taken his back!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Brink. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
